  SOAR Registration

Beginning in early in March, information about our Summer Orientation and Academic Registration program (SOAR) will be mailed from the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs/Dean of Students to students that have made an admission deposit.

This mailing will include the following:

• Welcome letter which will include your student ID number

• Information on how to register online for SOAR

• Information on how to register for online foreign language testing

• Information on how to access online application materials for housing and meal plans

• Insurance waiver card

• Student health card

The student fee that covers SOAR, as well as Welcome Week activities, has been included in your admission deposit.  The SOAR fee for parents is based on the option package chosen and can be paid when registering online. 

Please note:  Sessions are limited in size and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, you should complete your online SOAR registration form as soon as possible, as sessions fill quickly. Your confirmation will be sent via email approximately two weeks after you have registered online.  If you have any questions or concerns, please call 800-423-8633, ext. 2500.

  STAR Registration

After you have made your admission deposit, you will receive a packet of information regarding the STAR program and other very important information.

The STAR packet will include the following:

• Welcome Letter
• STAR Reservation RSVP card
• Housing Registration (if needed)
• Insurance Waiver Card
• Meningitis Vaccination Information
• Campus Map (which includes hotel information)
• Student Health Card

The student fee that covers STAR has been included in your admission deposit.  There are no fees for parents to attend the STAR sessions unless parents would like to eat lunch on campus.  The lunch fee can be paid during the morning registration.

Please note:  Sessions are limited in size and are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Therefore, you should return you STAR Reservation RSVP card as soon as possible, as sessions can fill quickly.  If you have misplaced your RSVP card, you should call 812-488-2371 to request another one.  Your confirmation will be sent once we have compiled assessment testing information.
